Oasis Web Services provides professional web development, UI/UX design, search engine optimization (SEO), and related digital services. Our services include but are not limited to:

  • User interface (UI) and user experience (UX) design
  • Search engine optimization and analytics
  • Website maintenance and updates
  • Domain registration and hosting assistance
  • Digital consultation and strategy services

All services are provided subject to availability and our professional discretion. We reserve the right to decline any project that does not align with our capabilities, values, or legal requirements.

Service Agreement and Scope

Before commencing any project, we will provide you with a detailed project proposal or statement of work outlining the scope, timeline, deliverables, and costs. This document, once agreed upon by both parties, forms part of our service agreement.

Any changes to the agreed scope of work must be approved in writing and may result in additional charges and timeline adjustments. We will provide estimates for any additional work before proceeding.

All projects are undertaken with reasonable skill and care in accordance with industry standards and best practices.

Payment Terms

Fees and Payment Schedule

All fees are quoted in British Pounds (GBP) and are exclusive of VAT where applicable. Payment terms will be specified in your project proposal and may include:

  • Initial deposit (typically 50% of total project cost)
  • Progress payments based on project milestones
  • Final payment upon project completion

Payment is due within 14 days of invoice date unless otherwise agreed. Late payments may incur interest charges at a rate of 8% per annum above the Bank of England base rate.

Refunds and Cancellation

Once work has commenced on your project, deposits and payments for completed work are non-refundable. If you wish to cancel a project, you will be liable for:

  • All work completed to the date of cancellation
  • Any third-party costs incurred on your behalf
  • Reasonable cancellation fees as outlined in your project agreement

We reserve the right to terminate our services if payment terms are not met or if the client breaches these Terms.

Intellectual Property Rights

Upon full payment of all fees, you will own the intellectual property rights to the custom work created specifically for your project, including website designs, custom code, and content created by us.

However, we retain ownership of:

  • Our proprietary methodologies, processes, and know-how
  • Pre-existing intellectual property and tools
  • Templates, frameworks, or code libraries we have developed
  • Any improvements or enhancements to our existing intellectual property

You must ensure that any content, images, or materials you provide do not infringe third-party intellectual property rights. You indemnify us against any claims arising from your use of infringing materials.

We reserve the right to showcase completed projects in our portfolio and marketing materials unless specifically agreed otherwise in writing.

Client Responsibilities

To ensure successful project completion, you agree to:

  • Provide accurate project requirements and timely feedback
  • Supply all necessary content, images, and materials
  • Respond to our communications within reasonable timeframes
  • Make payments according to the agreed schedule
  • Provide access to necessary systems, accounts, or hosting
  • Review and approve deliverables promptly

Delays in providing required materials or feedback may result in project timeline extensions and potential additional costs.

Limitations of Liability

We provide our services with reasonable skill and care but cannot guarantee specific results or outcomes. Our liability to you is limited as follows:

Maximum Liability

Our total liability to you for any claim shall not exceed the total amount paid by you for the specific service giving rise to the claim.

Excluded Damages

We shall not be liable for any indirect, consequential, or special damages including but not limited to:

  • Loss of profits, revenue, or business opportunities
  • Loss of data or corruption of systems
  • Third-party claims or damages
  • Damages arising from website downtime or technical issues

Nothing in these Terms shall exclude or limit our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded by law.

Website Disclaimer

While we strive to ensure our website is accurate and up-to-date, we make no warranties about:

  • The accuracy, completeness, or reliability of website content
  • Uninterrupted access to our website or services
  • The absence of viruses or other harmful components
